Basketball

Basketball will be the first competition in the 2017 Indigenous Games, held on Monday 26 June at the Leisuretime Centre, except the grand final which will be played on the thursday 29 June at Deakin Unviersity. Each team will have a squad not exceeding sixteen (16) players (maximum of 5 on the court at any given time) with all members of the squad able to compete in any one game. 
There must be a maximum of three (3) males on the court and a minimum of one (1), at any time. The game will consist of two (2) x twelve (12) minute halves with a one (1) minute half time break.

Draws for sport will be available online a week prior to the event.

    Australian University Sport (AUS) conducts its competitions under the official playing rules and regulations implemented by the national sporting organisation for that sport. However, AUS events are unique and hence there are often variations that are implemented.
